I SEE GREEN Youth Exchange  

The youth exchange "I SEE GREEN" is a 10 days youth exchange in Ommen, Netherlands aiming at raising awareness of 30 youngsters, youth leaders and volunteers of 6 countries (Netherlands, Croatia, Romania, Greece, Latvia and Poland) on environmental education with the use of audiovisual media as a tool.

The Mission

The mission of this youth exchange is to raise awareness on environmental issues with the use of audiovisual media as a tool.

Participants of this project will practice to identify environmental issues and create promotional media products on these issues.

Our mission is to enable youngsters who are sensitive to environmental issues to be able to use audiovisual media to bring out their message.

This We believe that everyone has a message to tell. The question is what message and how to tell it.

In this exchange our messages are about environment and we look at "media" as any combination of images and sound, that can be networked and that create relationships & connection between people.



The Goals

- To raise awareness of young people on environmental issues.

- To create the space for an interactive approach on environmental issues       through the use of media.

- To support youngsters develop skills on creating audiovisual material.

- To promote intercultural learning and cooperation among youngsters through the tool of creativity.

- To empower youth to become active citizens through the sharing of critical knowledge on environmental issues and understanding of a sustainable way of living and sharing this through the creation of audiovisual material.
